The Music Ministry of First Church supports congregational worship through the medium of music, beautifies the experience of worship through music and welcomes all newcomers to the church and community. You don’t have to be a virtuoso singer or ringer to join our choirs.  We put a great deal of emphasis on ‘teaching’ how to sing, ring and read music.  There are instrumental and vocal soloist opportunities as well.

Adult
 
The Sanctuary Choir
·        High School & College Age and up!
·        Rehearsals: Wednesday from 7:30 to 9:30 pm.
·        Leads worship either at 9:00, 1100 or both services

Lakeminster Ringers Bell Choir
·        Experienced bell ringers
·        Rehearsals: Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:00 pm
·        Participates in Sunday worship once a month

Chancel Bells Choir
·        Intergenerational group of 5th graders through adults;
·        New and experienced ringers are welcome
·        Rehearsals: Tuesday, 6:30-7:30 pm
·        Participate in Sunday worship once a month

Youth
 
Youth Music Ministry
·        Youth in grade 9-12 who play an instrument, sing or who just love music are welcome to 
         jam and help lead worship with Eggs Benediction.
·        Jam on Sundays nights 6:00-7:00pm begins September 18
·        Participate in worship once a month

Carol Choir
·        Boys and girls Grades 2 - 4
·        Rehearsals: Tuesday 4:15 –  5:00 pm
·        Learn proper singing technique, anthems, hymns and fun songs
·        Participates in worship once and month and Christmas Eve

Cherub Choir
·        Boys and girls 5 years old by September 1 through grade one
·        Rehearsals: Tuesdays 3:45 – 4:15 pm
·        Learn songs, movement, musical games as you are introduced to worship
·        Participates in worship once in the fall and Christmas Eve

Middle School Choir     
         Youth 5^th thru 8^th grade
         Rehearse Tuesday, 5:00-5:30pm, Choir Room, beginning September 13
         Sing in worship once a month, Christmas Eve,
         and the annual play in February
