World Mission Sub-committee
Summary: The purpose of World Mission is to carry out
Jesus’ great commission: "Go therefore to all nations
and make them my disciples; baptize them in the name of the
Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teach them to
observe all that I have commanded you."
(Matthew 28: 19-20) We
recognize the power of Christ to transform lives. We
proclaim Christ’s message, help to provide communities of
spiritual nurture and promote God’s vision of justice in the
world. To this end,
we support a number of global ministries not only with
financial gifts, but also with direct personal involvement.
