2012 New Member Classes
Sunday, February 5 from 10:00am to noon

Sunday, May 20 from 10:00am to noon
Child care and snacks are provided.
Each new member class consists of three sessions
and is for anyone interested in learning more about the life and beliefs of First Church.....whether
you choose membership or not.
The membership class takes
place in three Sunday morning gatherings. Each begins with
fellowship and prayer. In these gatherings we sense God’s
presence working in our midst as we get to know each other; we
talk about First Pres' core mission and how we take God’s
love into the world in everything we do; we discuss the stewardship of our time, talent and
treasure; we hear your story, the church’s story and God’s story
of salvation; we share faith journeys and meet the Session, the
ruling body of the Presbyterian Church. You are
welcomed into church membership in worship at the 11:00am
service during the third session.
We hope you will join us in
our common mission as we seek to be faithful disciples of Jesus
Christ and his church!
